The University of Nottingham's Digital Research Service (DRS) is a dedicated, core facility to support researchers and improve research quality. 18 RSE provide bespoke, project-based support in Data Science/Data Analytics, Bioinformatics and Software Engineering.

The DRS enable, improve, and impact research projects ranging from small proof-of-concept studies to large, national data infrastructure projects such as the UKCRC Tissue Directory and Coordination Centre. In addition to internal research projects, the expertise within DRS has attracted partnerships with the NHS, the local government, and businesses in finance, healthcare, advertising, social housing, retail.

As one of the team leaders in the service, I am responsible for the operational delivery and development of the service, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs. We employ an agile project management approach that allows our specialists to maintain flexibility and responsiveness in developing bespoke approaches to answer each projects' research questions.
