Research Software Engineer
I am a Research Software Engineer at the University of Bristol where I work as the lead software developer for the CCP-BioSim flagship software project, BioSimSpace. This is a software interoperability layer to allow packages from the biomolecular simulation community to work together, enabling users from academia and industry to write robust and portable workflows that are independent of the underlying software applications or hardware.

Prior to becoming an RSE I worked as research scientist, where I gained more than 10 years of experience in the field of statistical physics. My research bridged the disciplines of physics, chemistry, materials science, and engineering, where I've tackled problems ranging from crystallisation to energy storage. I also have a deep interest in scientific computing, data visualisation, and open source software development.
